SAVOY × IVAN MARKOV: An Imperial Morning
The Emperor Nicholas II Breakfast at SAVOY restaurant in Moscow, 8,900 ₽: from 23 September to 7 October it comes with a handmade IVAN MARKOV spoon as a gift.
From 23 September to 7 October, SAVOY restaurant and the IVAN MARKOV jewellery house bring together gastronomy and the jeweller's art in a collaboration devoted to craftsmanship, tradition and attention to detail.
With every Emperor Nicholas II Breakfast, each guest receives an exclusive silver-plated spoon with handmade details by IVAN MARKOV, created especially for SAVOY.
The spoon was chosen as the symbol of the collaboration for a reason. In Russian tradition it was given as a gift for a baby's first tooth, and cutlery became family heirlooms passed down from generation to generation for decades. So an object made by a jeweller becomes a continuation of the meal – and part of a personal story.
The Emperor Nicholas II Breakfast is a modern take on the traditional Russian morning table. It includes blini with sour cream and blueberry jam, syrniki, eggs three ways, Murmansk salmon, cold-smoked omul and muksun, pike and red caviar, sturgeon pirozhki, fresh vegetables and artisan bread with signature butters. The breakfast ends with a collection of desserts: honey cake, Napoleon cake and handmade chocolates.
The Emperor Nicholas II Breakfast is served daily from 11:00 to 16:00. Price: 8,900 ₽.
